How is ‘Memo’ Ochoa doing this pre-season with Club America, Nike sponsored team?

So far it doesn’t look good. In America’s 1st game in the Mexican league, on July 24 2010, ‘Memo’ Ochoa was left on the bench and America lost 3-0. Mind you, the first goal by Pachuca was an own-goal!

Ochoa did play a few minutes in America’s friendly on July 17 2010 and conceded a goal. America’s 2nd gk played in the first half of that game.

What’s next? America will play a friendly against Manchester City. Then, back to the Mexican Apertura on August 1 2010.

I hope Ochoa returns to top shape so he can return to the Mexico team as #1 goalkeeper. Ochoa wears Nike gloves and boots.
